On the 1st April 13, all police forces in Scotland are integrating into one force { Police Service of Scotland } which is a legal entity for the new force. It refers to itself as { Police Scotland }.
Alarm systems – new or existing – which will require police response, and therefore a URN { Unique Reference Number } will all need to be put forward to { Police Scotland } by your provider.
The Scottish Police require installers to be certified by a certification body that has been accredited to EN 45011 or EN 45011 and E45012 by UKAS, in order for the police monitoring to be granted.
