Our client owns a prime multi-tenanted Grade II listed courtyard development, comprising three self-contained stone-built period office buildings in the heart of Leeds City Centre.
The refurbished office suites benefit from air conditioning, suspended ceilings with LED lighting, fully decorated and carpeted, raised access floors, and wired certified silver ultra-high-speed fiber-optic broadband.
They came to Clarion Security Systems as they needed to find an HD (High Definition) IP (Internet Protocol) solution to allow tenants to gain secure access to the buildings and offices.
The new audio & video intercom system consists of 4 x 2N HD IP Verso platform intercoms, which are configurable to the client’s needs thanks to its modularity. It also backs this up with a fantastic contemporary look which was well suited to the client’s refurbished building.
We installed 16 x Grandstream handsets, which handle both audio and video calls, around the building to allow the control of access into the building by the security staff.
The existing Honeywell Win-Pak XE access system which controls each door was also integrated into the new 2N intercom system to allow access in a seamless upgrade.
The entire intercom system is controlled via an IP PBX unit which provides total control of the 2N software platform.
As the norm, we provided the client with a full site specification, site drawings, as well as commissioning & training on the system once it was fully installed.
A 12 x month maintenance package was also included within Clarion’s quotation to provide full support on the new system and includes a service/maintenance visit 6 x months into this period with free telephone support included.
