Our customer owns a commercial office building in Leeds City Centre and needed additional coverage for a new car park. They approached Clarion in December 2017 and asked for a solution to ensure the car park had full coverage, day and night.
We had already implemented a complete security system for the main commercial building, and our customer was so pleased with our work and pricing that they approached Clarion for a solution for their new car park.
We recommended a system consisting of four Avigilon CCTV cameras with infrared technology to capture both night and day footage after conducting a survey to identify entry and exit locations as well as the client’s overall requirements. The photos are sent back to the client’s security station through an encrypted WiFi bridge, which eliminates the need for additional cables, reducing interruption and costs for the client and its occupants.
We recommend clients take out a comprehensive maintenance contract to protect their system and ensure that their investment continues to work for years to come. Our client understood the need to protect their investment and will receive the following:
- 1 x Preventative maintenance visit per annum.
- Telephone support to assist with minor training issues and basic problem-solving.
- Speedy priority service to ensure swift attendance.
- Temporary loan equipment (when available) whilst faulty equipment is being assessed.
- A remote diagnostic service (where technically feasible) allows a remote reset of the system.
